The new Altendorf F45 is a gem of modern industrial design. Its sleek external profile reflects real inner quality and a new dimension in user friendliness. It features the intelligent, absolutely precise electronic controls, which are now an integral part of every Altendorf, as well as a large LCD screen on which all settings are displayed.

Coming complete with motorised rise/fall and tilt adjustment of the saw blade, clear on-screen operator guidance and a USB interface for fast data transfer, even the basic specification of the F45 sets the standard. The optional extras offer even more in the way of user-friendly options with features such as an eye-level control panel, VARIO drive and motorised rip fence (see more details below).

• Coolant Spray Device: A spray device is recommended for plastics with a low melting point and for certain light metal alloys.
• DIGIT L and LD Cross-cut / Mitre Fences, and the DUPLEX range of Double-Sided Mitre Fences
• The PALIN D cross-cut / mitre fence, used in conjunction with the flip stops on the crosscut fence, is ideal for ripping long narrow workpieces to precise width on the sliding table of the saw blade.
• Laser Cutting Line Marker: Shows the cutting line (up to 5000 mm beam length) which is useful when trimming or cutting marked jobs, e.g. steps. Dramatically saves on time and material.
• Rip Fence Choices: The Rip Fence with Fine Adjustment, (with optional DIGIT X digital cutting width display), and the high precision Motorised Rip Fence
• Motorised Scorer adjustment, the RAPIDO X which makes it easier and quicker to adjust the cutting width to match that of the main blade, or the RAPIDO Plus that offers a three-axis scoring system and motorised positioning.
• An Altendorf sliding table - renowned for its smooth and exact running. This is hallmark of an Altendorf, and it all comes down to design: the table runs on large dumb bell rollers sandwiched between hard chromed guide bars.
• VARIO Drive: VARIO offers infinitely variable rotational speed setting, so the saw shaft RPM can be set to achieve the exact optimum cutting speed for whichever material you use.
• Manual or Pneumatic Quick-Action Clamps to ensure that the workpiece is securely supported on the sliding table. Pneumatic pressure beam also available.
• Many workpiece support options, including cross-slide extensions, additional cross slide, STEG, and Infeed Support Table.
