Vertongen

· Vertongen are a progressive Belgian company with over 100 years experience of manufacturing Woodworking Machines, who specialise in manufacturing manual & automatic Tenoners & Profilers for Window & Door production, this enables them to offer much more to a joinery manufacturer than other woodworking machinery makers, because all their research and development is concentrated on updating and improving their own machines. · The strong frame on all the models is of a dynamic monococ design, similar to a Formula One racing car built to withstand noise, vibration and resonance, with an average noise level of 85dba depending on the factory conditions, therefore Vertongen can offer much higher spindle speeds to suit the optimum speed of modern tools, giving a higher degree of finish, reduce break out and give a longer tool life, for example 4,500rpm on the Tenon Heads, 4,000rpm. on the Vertical Spindles and Scribing Heads, and 6000rpm. on their Profiling Spindles. · The Vertongen Tenoners are guarded by a unique Polycarbonate Safety Curtain guarding system, which enables the operator to see his work at all times in complete safety. This safety guarding system runs on wheels on a track within the confines of the machine frame. · On the ‘Compact’ and ‘ECO’ Tenoners, all the Horizontal and Vertical head movements are manually adjusted from the front of the machine and fitted with digital readouts, which enables the operator to make any adjustments in complete safety, even when the machine is operational. · On the Compact & ECO range the max. timber height is up to 150m/m, and the table and fence on all models will angle + or – 60* which means for angled work the timber is always supported without losing table width. · The heavy duty tables run on top quality machined steel which means you never have to adjust them to compensate for wear and tear. · Vertongen offer a choice of manual or automatic tables, with manual or pneumatic clamping of the workpiece, a 6 position rotary Backing Disc, Top and Bottom Tenon Heads and Scribing Spindles, 160 or 200m/m long vertical spindles and large throw over stops on the fence. · On the CNC ‘Control’ Tenoners the max, timber height is 185m/m with 185m/m long vertical spindles, while many options include an Automatic 2 Position Backing Wood or a Fully Automatic Backing Wood System, where the backing wood piece is changed automatically by CNC Control for each new Tenon Profile. · On the ‘Control’ Profilers the max. timber height is 140m/m, and any number of 545m/m long spindles can be fitted with many useful options. · Your experienced local sales agent will be pleased to discuss the full range of machines and options offered by Vertongen on all their models. · We commission all the Vertongen Tenoners, Profilers and Window Lines ourselves, with our own back up system for service & spares.
