Used Casolin Astra 400 Panel Saw

The Casolin Astra 400 is a heavy-duty Italian-built sliding table panel saw designed for professional woodworking and panel processing applications where accuracy, reliability and a high-quality finish are essential.

Built around a robust cast-iron saw unit, the Astra 400 offers excellent stability and reduced vibration during cutting. The main blade can accommodate diameters up to 400 mm, providing a maximum cutting height of 125 mm, while the saw unit tilts from 0° to 45.5° for accurate angled cutting. Three blade speeds allow the machine to be adapted to different materials and cutting requirements. The sliding carriage runs on linear guides with recirculating ball bearings, providing smooth movement, accuracy and stability when processing large panels and solid timber. A scoring unit can also be specified, allowing clean, chip-free cutting of laminated and veneered panels.

Available in several configurations, including versions with motorised blade adjustment, CNC-controlled rip fence and an overhead control panel, the Casolin Astra 400 can be specified to suit anything from general joinery and furniture production through to more demanding professional panel processing environments. Made in Italy, the Astra 400 combines traditional heavy-duty machine construction with modern control technology to deliver a versatile and dependable panel saw for professional workshops.
