Cavernous hall or cosy workshop, big cuts or small, one-man band or global player: Altendorf has the right machine for everyone. Discover the richness of the Altendorf range.
Altendorf's modular system allows users to select the options they need from our extensive catalogue to configure the optimal tool for the job. Your Altendorf is really yours, built to do exactly what you want. We have put together four practical, user-focused option packages to help you choose. All options can be combined as required with the basic machine and the options packs. You will also be able to upgrade your original equipment for a long time to come, wherever the technology permits (which is an important factor to consider given that your Altendorf could easily last 20 years or more).
The comprehensively redesigned Altendorf F45 machine frame combines absolutely unprecedented torsion resistance with extremely low levels of vibration, while the smooth front and clear foot space on the floor enable you to operate closer to the machine and the workpiece. The famously smooth-running sliding table, which has received a number of design tweaks, remains the undisputed benchmark for precision cutting.
What to do when one has little space, plus a limited budget, but quality must still be maintained? When these requirements must be met by a sliding table saw, Altendorf's answer is: an Altendorf WA6. It's the smallest Altendorf there is. But in spite of its smaller dimensions, its considerable abilities are impressive: with its powerful range of equipment, it stands out even in the smallest space.
The Altendorf WA80 can take on any cutting challenge you can present it with, whatever material you want to cut, whether wood, plastic or non ferrous metal. With its well thought out design and robust build quality, it makes light work of simple but precise squaring cuts through to complex angles. Completely designed, developed and manufactured in Germany, the machine sets a new benchmark for sliding table saws in terms of price and quality.
Looking for a machine that is robust, ready for the anything and easy to operate? The Altendorf WA8 is likely the saw for you. Whether you're squaring panels or cutting complex angles and mitres, the Altendorf WA8 is the right companion for you being manufactured to their rigorous technological standards, solid build quality and ergonomic flexibility. The Altendorf WA8 is a modern classic in the making.

Altendorf are responsible for the introduction of the first sliding table panel saws. Designed by Wilhiem Altendorf in Berlin back in 1906, Altendorf panel saws were used for his own production of furniture.
Nowadays, Altendorf employs over 260 people, has factories in Germany, China, and Brazil and sells over 2,600 sliding table saws per year into the wood, metal and plastic industries. As a company it is renowned as a specialist manufacturer of sliding table saws with a patented table mechanism, meaning that Altendorf panel saws are still the most desired woodworking machines on the market.
The current range of Altendorf products includes the F45, F45 Elmo III, Elmo IV, Elmo IIID, WA80 and WA6 panel saws. Only the WA6 is made in China in the Altendorf Factory, then shipped to Germany for assembly. All of the other panel saws sold into the European market are German made in full.
R&J Machinery has a long relationship with Altendorf dating back to 1994, and we are proud to be a preferred stockist of their machines and spare parts. We are one of the top-tier suppliers of Altendorf machines in the UK and Europe, and our team of service and repair engineers travels to Altendorf in Germany annually for training on the latest machinery ranges.
