But in spite of its smaller dimensions, the Altendorf WA6 has impressive abilities and its powerful range of equipment means it stands out even in the smallest space. Altendorf WA6 Base Features

Despite its smaller dimensions, the Altendorf WA6 impresses with great performance and a strong features list, making this an outstanding saw with flexibility for daily use. Features include:

1,600 mm, 2,600 mm, 3,000mm sliding table lengths. All three choices in stock for quick delivery.
Rip fence with a cutting width of 1,000 mm (1,300 mm on the 3,000 mm sliding table)
Crosscut-mitre fence for accurate angle and mitre cutting in a single function. Cutting lengths: 105–2,600 mm. Mitre angle infinitely adjustable by up to 49°
Rip fence with manual adjustment using graduated scale
Manual tilt adjustment via hand wheel, tilt angle indicated on a scale. From 0–45°
Manual rise/fall adjustment via hand wheel
As standard, this machine comes with 0.37 kW scoring motor with on/off switch

Sliding Table Lengths

The Base Spec Altendorf WA6 panel saw comes with a sliding table length of 1,600mm, but we also have in stock availability for the machine with optional 2,600mm or 3,000mm sliding table length for quick delivery.

RAPIDO Scoring System

The scorer ensures chip-free undersides when working with laminated panels. The RAPIDO system makes adjusting the cutting width straightforward and enables this step to be completed in no more than three minutes. This can save you up to 10 minutes as compared with conventional scorer systems because it does away with the tedious process of mounting two-part scorer blades with spacer disks entirely. Adjustment is continuous and precise, so the RAPIDO can be fine-tuned to match the cutting width of any main blade. Range: 3 – 3.8mm.

DUPLEX Double-Sided Mitre Fence

DUPLEX fences make it possible to make mitre cuts at any angle between 0 and 90° with speed and precision. At 45° a mitre cut can be made on both sides of the workpiece without moving the fence. Dimensions are set using a magnifier, a measuring scale and a length compensation scale for frequently recurring angles.

Large Extraction Hood

The optional big extraction hood ensures even more work safety and better handling of angle cuts. The hood can be adjusted to the respective material thickness steplessly and self-locking. The scope of delivery includes a narrow hood for 90° cuts and a wide hood for mitre cuts. Exhaust connection: 80mm
